Judy and Angus' weekend trip to the UK.

January 2004.

We arrived late on a Thursday, and stayed with Angus' parents, spending the weekend with Angus' daughter Zoe, leaving on the Monday

Friday we saw local sites to where Angus was born and raised.

Saturday we went to London

Sunday we skied (dri-slope), did the Mall (big mall), meet up a with a mate of Angus, and dined on English Fayre at restauarnat.

Friday: Judy outside Holy Trinity Church, Dartford. Parts of the Tower are a 1000 years old.

Friday; Judy outside the Wat Tyler pub. We went in for a drink. The pub has been here several hundred years, and takes it name from a man who lead a march against the King (18 century). He and his men stopped at this pub to meet up with other groups and plan their march on London and the King. They all lost their heads.

Sunday: Where we skied, dri-slope style. That is nylon brush matting laid over a hillside.

Sunday: Angus beside a 'Smart' car at the Mall. Judy wanted this because the car is so small. It is the definitive town car, seats two, tiny, great mileage, park in the tiniest of spaces.

Sunday: Angus with his old mate Phil, who we meet for lunch.

Monday: Judy using a Post Box.

Monday: Angus leaving his parent's house.
